Eastern Canada's primal scream, Stonebrother is a two-piece powerhouse combining elements of rock, pop, and alternative music. Their blend of poignant poetry, energetic live performance, and elaborate metaphor create a balance of dominant and relaxed sounds.
The first ever winner of the Rising Surge Battle of the Bands, they are currently in the rollout process of their first ever studio album, New World Inc., recorded at the Sonic Temple studio in Halifax, engineered by Lil Thomas. Previous releases include their EP Try Your Luck, made in collaboration with Eardrum Valley Records, which has gained over 100,000 streams on Spotify.
Presently they are using their music and showmanship to create a narrative through the content of their album, as well as their live performance.
